Grateful For Progress & Nike Wish List

I had really cool session with The Coach on Wednesday :) The steps are tiny, but seeing progress in what you do is really great gratification of all the efforts together. I also by accident stumbled upon a feature in Garmin Connect (I am still switching back to the "Classic Mode", so don't know if this is available in the new layout) - there is "Compare activities" button and if you do same workouts each week / month or so, it works like a charm. You can see that on the table bellow (click on it to see it in detail). This workout we have been doing over past month consists of 3 sets of 1 000 m followed by 800 m. Damnt that's tough!

But I am very happy to see that I can now pretty reguralry go just bellow that 4 min per km and that I squeezed down the 800 m time by more or less 7 seconds on average :))) (the distances from my watch are not totally accurate because I run this in an alley bellow trees and there is also a 180 degrees turnaround in the middle of each rep - which on the other hand says that I could be even faster when doing these on track!!!). So if you keep a training diary (which I strongly recommend) or you upload your workouts to any online training log (try eVito - it's also available in English and the iPhone app now has built in food journal!) then don't forget to look back on how far you have come since the beginning :)

My Nike Women's Fall 2014 Collection Wish List

Just love Nike Pro ... these shorts! I have been in love with them ever since and Nike also does them in little longer style for those girls who don't feel comfortably having them just this short :) And these compression calf sleeves - I haven't seen them available in Czech stores yet, but I hope they will be very soon! And she is wearing Nike Lunar Crosss Element - special shoe for hard intensity workouts. I am very intrigued to try these out as I try to go to the cruel cirucit trainings at Hardcore Tréninky more often!

Digging this bra-top!

What about this whole outfit? And especially when it's worn by such a running star as Tirunesh Dibaba! I already have the shoes - they are Lunar Glide 6 and I simply love them! (though the white part is not that much white any more...) Lunar Glides since LG 4 have been my go to training so for running the high volumes but also for any other training. It is a shoe I can trust, I know it won't change my style, and it gives me all the necessary protection for those 80+ (or sometimes even 100) mile weeks. The newest LG 6 is even lighter than the previous ones :)

And I want the lightweight tee and colorful shorts as well!

These are Nike Pegasus 31 ... we were just talking with Nike people and I realized that my first running shoe I bought in spring 2009 when I took on running in NYC was a Pegasus 25 that was on sale :D So I am very intrigued to try it!

... because it's not only about running and working out - this Nike Tech Fleece Butterfly seems to be a "must have" for casual wear!

Nike Bras!

There was a bit of revoluiton in the Nike bra department. Lot of development, research etc. went down and I will write about the topic more in detail very soon as I have some personal experience and struggles on this one. You can now get fitted at Nike stores to choose the right bra for you. I didn't go through the fitting, but based on the pictures, these two are my favorites:

Nike Pro Fierce

Nike Pro Indy

As I lost weight through running, I went down couple bra sizes as well, so I am thinking, I might try some lighter weight protection. This bra seems as very comfortable "second skin" option.

What's on your wish list??? :)
